Shuwern is an Associate of the firm.

Shuwern began her legal career in Tax, Trade and Customs at one of Malaysia’s leading law firms, where she gained experience advising and representing a broad range of clients, including government-linked companies to multinational corporations on indirect and direct tax matters. Her work includes income tax, transfer pricing, stamp duty and customs issues, as well as regulatory matters involving personal data protection and trusts. She was also involved in judicial review proceedings before the Malaysian superior courts, prior to transitioning into the field of capital markets.

Outside of work, Shuwern enjoys playing volleyball and spending time outdoors. 

Shuwern is fluent in English and Malay.
