Lee Zai-Lii (Lily)
Lily is one of the Founding Partners of the firm. Lily is actively involved in the capital markets and M&A sector where she was involved in fundraising exercises including initial public offerings (IPOs) as well as bond and sukuk issuances. Known for her interpersonal skills and warm personality, she plays a prominent role in managing client relationships on behalf of her team.
Since commencing legal practice, she has been actively involved in corporate finance/equity capital market exercises including IPOs on the Main Market, ACE Market and LEAP Market of the Malaysian Stock Exchange and Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Lily has also participated in bonds and sukuk transactions, the most notable of which is the Samurai Bond (guaranteed by Japan Bank for International Cooperation) for the amount of ¥200 billion issued by the Government of Malaysia where she was involved in the transaction documentation.
Outside of work, you’ll typically find her in pilates or spin classes. If she isn’t there, she is probably out trying a new restaurant.
