Hui En is an Associate of the firm and is actively involved in various corporate exercises, mainly the listing of companies on Bursa Securities Malaysia Berhad and regulatory compliance advisory matters. 

Prior to joining the firm’s corporate practice, Hui En started her legal career in dispute resolution at one of Malaysia’s leading law firms. She has experience in advising and representing a diverse range of clients, including Malaysia government-linked companies, Chinese and Korean construction companies and highway concessionaires. Her work involved arbitration and litigation proceedings, particularly in large-scale infrastructure and construction disputes, before she transitioned into the field of capital markets.  

Hui En is also a key member of the firm’s China Desk. She has experience working with Chinese state-owned enterprises and possesses first-hand insight into Chinese corporate culture. Coupled with her fluency in Mandarin, English and Malay, she is able to assist clients with cross-border matters and bridge communication between Chinese and Malaysian stakeholders.
